GURU
The GURU is the largest unit we make and is intended for djembes 12” – 15″. Unique to the GURU are the 6 holes on the PA (piston assembly), 3 on either side providing more options for fitting into a wide range of drum sizes. The adjustable rubber grips are strong and sure. Friction-fit the piston assembly unit into your drum and it will stay put until you remove it.

The GURU includes the DJAMBLA MK1 Foot Pedal, and the two connect together with the cable system provided. The pedal is built with solid hardwood, high grade aluminum, and quality hardware to perform every bit as good as it looks. And we think it looks pretty good.

Drum fit
PA Interior
The GURU piston assembly (PA) will fit 12″ – 14″ diameter drums , and possibly larger. The GURU PA has 6 inserts, 3 per side for placement of the rubber grips into drums with narrow bottoms. The rubber grips have up to 1″ of extension from the PA body to be able to adapt to a wide range of drum shapes.
The Djambla’s ‘crossbow inspired’ tension system will provide trouble free performance to shoot the piston back to the start position as soon as you lift your foot of the pedal. In the unlikely event of elastic failure, the interior mechanism is easily accessed by removing the PA cover. Replacing the band (extra band included) couldn’t be easier.
